City Name
History:
|
In
the 1880's, the Northern Pacific Railroad commissioned a surveyor by the
name of Covington to develop a railroad line between Auburn and Kanasket.
Along the way, a stop was named for him and the Covington community was
born. |

The information on the City Name History was provided
to me by Mrs. Alison Dellicker of Covington, who was kind enough to e-mail
me and point me in the right direction. THANK YOU!
