An
unknown marketing person from the United Development Corporation, who
owned the land before it became incorporated, came up with the name Mill
Creek back in the 1970s. There were many names that were considered
since the 1950s including that of the home of the Greek Gods,
Olympus. The Chinook Indians word Klahanie, which means
"open, free and outdoors" was also considered. |
