City Name History:   The county seat has had three names. In 1884, as a main stopping point en route to the Okanogan country, it was called Okanogan City. It was next called Jumper's Flat as a commentary on the claim-jumping prevalent prior to the arrival of the railroad. It was finally platted under its present name when a 30-foot well produced water.
Comments:

Very unique post office, as it's displaying the old postal code for Washington State (WN) and actually says Zip No.
