This segment of Phase Three was created for a bit of fun. Of course it will add to my overall goal of traveling Washington State, but it also allows me to experience different cultures throughout the state. As a child, and all the way into my adult life, I have conducted an annual pilgrimage to the Puyallup Fair (a.k.a. The Western Washington State Fair). Although I have visited county fairs many times over, I have only attended a few in Washington State. I decided to combine my love for county fairs with traveling the state.

Originally Phase Three had a time period for completion in three years. However, when I realized that most county fairs in Washington State occur during the summer months I knew that I would not be able to visit all 39 within three summers. After a bit of math, five years seemed to be a more attainable time frame.
