During a weekend trip to Ferry and Stevens County in 2004, our travels took
us across the border into Canada at Danville, WA. We drove for about thirty
miles in Canada and then returned to the United States at Laurier, WA. Later
that evening I realized
another unique aspect to Washington State: border
crossing into Canada.
So I decided to add this segment to Phase
Two.
After September-Eleventh the security at all American border crossings increased
to the level that photos are not allowed to be taken at the crossing itself.
Therefore, I unfortunately do not have photos of me at every crossing. Some
photos are blurry due to the fact that they were taken in hast so as not to
anger the customs agents. |
